Supportive small team environment * $35-$40/hr - skilled rates * Immediate start - full-time hours * Major commercial projects About The Role: We're urgently seeking experienced Structural Steel Erectors for major commercial projects in southwest Christchurch. You'll be part of a tight-knit, skilled crew working with a well-known construction company specialising in large-scale builds like warehouses and commercial facilities. This is a hands-on role involving steel installation, site prep, and working at heights. Wages: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (depending on experience) Location: Southwest Christchurch What's In It For You: * Immediate start available * Work with a respected commercial construction company * Ongoing full-time work on major projects * Monday to Friday schedule with Saturday options * Training and upskilling opportunities * Supportive small team environment What You Will Be Doing: * Installing structural steel and strengthening components * Working at heights and using cranes and Hiabs * Reading and interpreting site drawings * Measuring and preparing for installs * Problem-solving and collaborating on-site * Working on large warehouse and commercial structures What We Require: * Minimum 3 years' experience as a steel erector or rigger * Fit and able to work at heights * Current Site Safe and WAH/Safety Harness certs * Welding/fabrication tickets a bonus, not essential * Own hand and battery tools (larger saws supplied) * Strong site awareness and safety focus * Able to provide recent work references ALL APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THE LEGAL RIGHT TO WORK IN NEW ZEALAND Why Choose Max People?
