At Ryman, we’re building communities that care, and we’re looking for an experienced General Site Supervisor to join our team on a major build project at Patrick Hogan Village in Cambridge. This is a fixed-term role for 12 months, starting immediately, where you’ll spend 90% of your time on site, ensuring everything runs smoothly and safely. **About the Role** - On-site presence required (No FIFO). - Oversee and coordinate all trades – electrical, plumbing, wall linings, brickwork, mechanical, painting, and internal finishes. - Manage day-to-day operations for the main village centre, a two-level building. - Supervise a growing team: starting with 40–50 people daily, scaling up to 100+ at peak. - Ensure safety, quality, and timelines are met. - Civil experience is a bonus but not essential. **Project Snapshot** - Approx. 11,100 sqm footprint. - Ground floor blockwork, suspended slab, timber framing on level two. - One crawler crane on site. - Townhouses are part of the overall development, but this role focuses on the main building. **What We’re Looking For** - Proven experience as a General Site Supervisor – not trade-specific. - Strong building knowledge and practical experience. - Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. **Why Ryman?** At Ryman, we support an environment where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.
