About the Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll be responsible for both proactive and reactive maintenance of sophisticated, state-of-the-art mechanical and electrical machinery.
You’ll play a key role in:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults to ensure machine availability.
- Maintaining safety standards and supporting continuous improvement.
- Managing spare parts and consumables.
- Coaching junior technicians and supporting operational staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Mechanical qualification/trade
- Experience with both mechanical engineering and some electrical/electronic experience is essential
- At least 3 years’ experience in an industrial production, food or maintenance setting that includes conveyor systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- EWRB registration/EST A/B would be nice to have
- Electrical awareness and the ability to read technical diagrams.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Pneumatics, hydraulics, and reliability-based maintenance.
- Someone who is open to working shifts and on-call.
- Based in NZ with full rights to work
