To work within the team to maintain the course to a high standard of presentation and playability, communicating course information to the relevant persons as required. This role will also be required to maintain Health and Safety working practices, whilst taking other members of staff, members, and guests into consideration. Duties & Responsibilities o Adhere to safe working practices. o Utilize understanding of golf course agronomics, course construction, use of plant nutrients and pesticides, use and maintenance of course equipment, and the irrigation system. o Carry out maintenance and renovation of all turf grass surfaces and associated areas as necessary. o Operate all equipment for use and maintenance on the golf course, putting greens, surrounds, tees, fairways, and rough. o Change hole locations and tee markers. o Carry out drainage installation and maintenance where and when necessary. o Carry out irrigation installation and maintenance. o Carry out construction of greens, tees, fairways, rough and bunkers as necessary. o Carry out maintenance of all machinery. o Operate equipment for hauling materials and removing debris. o Trim trees, prune and remove fallen trees with the aid of a chainsaw or similar device, with permission of I.C.C. Parks & Reserves. o Promptly report any issues associated with the course or machinery to the Head Greenkeeper. o Plant, water, and fertilize trees and shrubs, with permission of I.C.C. Parks & Reserves. o Report any dangerous, damaged, or fallen trees to the Head Greenkeeper. o Operate and maintain equipment to the highest standard. o Perform other duties where necessary. o Report any mistreatment of equipment. o To assist in ensuring the golf course is properly laid out and prepared for members and guests to the Club, and that a high standard of presentation of the golf course is maintained. o Prepare machinery for use. o Clean machinery after use. o To promote good environmental practice.

Due to diversification within our team we are on the hunt for a farm manager. Wilson contracting is a diverse operation including Transport, Earth moving, agricultural contracting and farming based 15 mins from Invercargill. We own and operate approx 350 ha of cut & carry, Dairy and heifer grazing land. Grazing approx 250 R1 calves and Winter approx 700 dairy cows on Fodder beet, swedes and Kale. Winter is your time to shine where you will manage the daily operations involved in the wintering of animals. Experience in the transition of animals especially onto Fodder beet would be an advantage but training and support would be provided. Outside of winter, the management of all associated jobs involved in the running of a farming business would be your responsibility ie fencing, spraying, shifting of young stock etc. There would be a requirement for you to assist with operating machinery etc in our contracting and transport business during the busy times where the farming is less demanding so any experience in these fields would be advantageous as would the appropriate licenses but not essential. There is no accommodation available with this position at this stage. A work vehicle would be provided Experience with the the Resolution App would help but training would be provided

About the role Step into the role of Skipper aboard the San Tangaroa, one of Sanford's dedicated deepwater scampi vessels. Operating out of Timaru, the San Tangaroa targets scampi on voyages up to six weeks long, primarily fishing in areas like the Chatham Rise and around the Auckland and Chatham Islands. All scampi is landed, processed, frozen, and packed at sea, and delivered to Sanford's Bluff and Timaru sites. We are currently seeking an experienced Skipper, with the vessel due to depart on 9 September 2025 (subject to change). This position may suit either an experienced Skipper looking for a new challenge or a confident Second Mate/1st Mate ready to take the next step. This is an Independent Contractor (self-employed) role on a 4-6 weeks on / 4-6 weeks off rotation. Sanford covers return travel expenses from your hometown to Timaru or Invercargill. Key Responsibilities * Fish within the designated quota area according to the voyage catch plan, adapting plans as needed with company approval. * Follow all company regulations and New Zealand laws, ensuring all operations comply with company standards, MPI, MOSS and MNZ legislation. * Supervise appointed crew members adhering to the minimum crewing levels and the company standards. * Ensure all crew members are trained for efficient and safe operations. * Coordinate with the Vessel Manager for fuel, provisions, and fishing gear from approved suppliers. Maintain and repair the vessel at sea as needed and oversee any necessary repairs during port visits. * Operate the vessel continuously, weather permitting, to maximise both the quality and quantity of the catch and ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of the crew and vessel. * Maintain daily communication with the shore-based team, providing updates on required information. Keep detailed logs and records, ensuring compliance with Company and legal requirements. About you You will be responsible for ensuring the vessel's safe, efficient, and lawful operation while maximising the quality and quantity of the catch.
