You'll work closely with the GM, Operations Manager, and Director to contribute strategically and grow your skill set. You'll be Working closely with management and business development teams, you'll contribute to both price and non-price elements of bids, ensuring submissions reflect both project scope and company capability. With a strong versatile acumen, you'll also support post-tender negotiations, variation pricing, and ongoing cost accuracy benchmarking. Success in this role requires a solid grasp of New Zealand standards, combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure in a ever changing civil landscape. What we are looking for: * 3-5 years' experience in civil construction estimating or quantity surveying, ideally across roading, drainage, and infrastructure. * Strong technical knowledge of NZ construction standards (e.g., NZS suite), contracts, and market rates. * Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Benchmark, Excel) and construction programming tools like MS Project. * Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret drawings, specs, and technical documentation. * Clear communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with engineers, contract managers, and procurement teams.
