Duties and Responsibilities will include: * Maintain on site mechanical systems, ensuring safe for use, communicating issues * Build and install equipment. * Weld stainless steel to food processing standard (MIG, TIG, ARC) * Operate milling machine and lathe * Maintain hydraulic systems. * Install and maintain water pipe systems, valve work and air systems * Liaise with Shift Supervisors and processing personnel to ensure all faults are repaired quickly. * Perform ongoing monitoring of mechanical systems. * Provide budget estimates for projects. * Carry out preventive and proactive maintenance inspections. * Maintain and operate the site mechanical systems to comply with all relevant criteria ensuring the ability of the plant to process within the required regulations. * Communicate at various levels to achieve above objective. * Maintain mechanical systems to ensure safety of on site personnel and property. * Ensure all systems are efficient and running in the best interest of the business.
