The Role: Supervisor Joiner/Cabinetmaker Currently seeking a Supervisor Joiner/Cabinetmaker to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone ready to expand their horizons and make a significant contribution to our on going success. It is a hands on position in a small team, manufacturing and installing mainly kitchens, walk-in wardrobes, and household joinery. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate to achieve project goals and deliver on key projects * Demonstrate creative problem solving skills to address design challenges and develop effective solutions. * Communicate clearly and effectively with team members, subcontractors, stakeholders and clients. * Take ownership of assigned projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. * Stay updated on industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies relevant to your role * Participate and run team meeting, brainstorming sessions, and knowledge sharing activities. * Contribute to on going process improvement * Uphold the organization's values and represent the company in a positive and professional manner Required Qualifications and Attributes * Trade qualified in Joinery or Cabinetmaking with at least 5 years practical experience in making and installing custom kitchens and other house hold joinery. * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Have computer skills, we use computers in the factory, but don't have any CNC gear * Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team * Excellent organizational and time skills * Passion for continuous learning and personal growth * Demonstrate problem solving and critical thinking skills * Adaptable and able to thrive in an evolving environment * Have experience using and understanding of Blum Hardware Why Join Millbrook? * We offer a supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and individual contributions * Competitive compensation * A 40 hour week structured on 4 x 10 hour days (Monday to Thursday) with overtime worked on Fridays How to Apply for this Position: Please send your CV and a covering letter outlining your relevant experience to Bruce Drummond Email is bruce@millbrookfurniture.co.nz or you can deliver the application to Millbrook Furniture Solutions Ltd 405 Ellison Road Hastings
