We're recruiting a motivated Project Engineer to join a high-performing civil team delivering major wastewater and civil infrastructure projects across Auckland and the Waikato. This is a site-based role suited to someone who is technically strong, organized, and ready to step up in a growing business with a great culture.What's in it for you:

The Role:
You'll support the Project Manager in the day-to-day delivery of key infrastructure projects focused on their water and wastewater contracts.
Responsibilities include:
* Overseeing site operations and supporting the site supervisor
* Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and daily site activities
* Monitoring progress, scheduling, and ensuring delivery milestones are met
* Managing quality assurance, reporting, and project documentation
* Using MS Office and Procore for project systems and controls
* Ensuring site safety and compliance standards are upheld
* Contributing to continuous improvement and on-site problem solving
About You:
* Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related field
* Experience in civil construction (Tier 1-2 exposure)
* Experience in water/wastewater or complex infrastructure
* NZQA certifications in water and wastewater treatment
* Confident using MS Office, Procore, or similar project systems
* Open-minded, adaptable, and eager to learn
* Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills
* Enjoys a hands-on, site-based role and working with a collaborative team
