You’ll be working across some awesome locations throughout New Zealand, staying fit on the job, and being part of a crew that genuinely enjoys what they do. About the Role: You’ll be operating hydroseeding equipment across major civil projects including: * Wind farms * Forestry projects * Roading and transport projects * Subdivisions * Bulk earthworks The majority of work is across the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, and Auckland regions, with occasional travel nationwide when required. This role offers growth opportunities, particularly for someone with experience or interest in project coordination or leadership, as we continue winning larger-scale projects. What You’ll Be Doing: * Upholding our clients’ values * Operating Class 2 & 4 trucks and hydroseeding equipment * Correct application of hydro mulch, polymers, soil blankets, and hydroseed slurries * Loading materials and applying hydroseed slurry via gun and hose safely * Driving trucks to and around project sites * Communicating professionally with customers, project managers, and site managers * Keeping all equipment clean, tidy, and well maintained * Representing our client on-site as the face of the company Our clients sales team works hard to win projects — once handed over to operations, it’s your job to deliver excellent outcomes and delight our customers on-site. Hours & Remuneration: * Hours: Generally, 6:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday * Busy season may reach 60+ hour weeks * Guaranteed 40 hours per week * Starting rate: Dependent on experience Travel & Benefits * Based in the Waikato * Must be willing to travel NZ-wide when required * All accommodation paid for and night allowance provided * Always home for weekends and public holidays * Weekend work is rare, but occasional Saturdays may be required for project delivery What We’re Looking For: * Proven experience operating trucks and heavy machinery * Class 2 licence is a minimum (Class 4 + WTRF highly preferred) * Physically fit and capable of manual work * Excellent communicator with a positive, solutions-focused mindset * Clean ministry of justice check * Must pass a pre-employment drug test * Must be able to travel for work when required Why Join our client’s team?
