J & R Contracting is on the hunt for a Skilled Labourer with a Class 2 or 4 license to join our tight-knit crew based in the Waikato. We’re a well-established civil utilities company with a reputation for getting the job done right – specializing in directional drilling and underground utility installation across the middle and upper North Island. ________________________________________ What you’ll be doing: • Assisting with underground utility installs and directional drilling operations • Driving Class 4 vehicles to and from site (equipment and materials) • General site labouring duties – trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and reinstatement • Maintaining a clean, safe worksite What we’re looking for: • A solid work ethic and can-do attitude • Proven experience in civil or utilities work (or similar physical labour roles) • Class 2 or 4 Licence – must be current • WTR and other tickets a bonus (but not essential) • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented • Commitment to health and safety on site
