Good team environment with social activities Excavator/ Digger Operator Cambridge Drainage & Earthworks is a locally owned and operated company with strong ties to the Cambridge and Waipa area. As a small team, we work across a wide range of drainage and earthworks projects. We have plenty of work ahead of us and are therefore looking for a digger operator to join our tight-knit and hard-working team. If you: Have a few years of digger operating experience Ability to work unsupervised Can read plans Set basic heights off site datum RL Have an ability to problem solve possible site issues before they occur Ability to excavate to grade Ability to dig trenches straight in order for pipe to be laid Hold a full current class 1 car licence Hold a class 2 licence (or higher) with R, T, W endorsements (advantageous) Have an understanding of H&S practices Have a great work ethic and attention to detail Are a bit tech savvy to access site plans and timesheets etc Have good communication skills Are physically fit and are able to do some heavy lifting Can follow verbal instructions Have an interest in the drain laying industry Then we want to hear from you!
