Your responsibilities will include: * Must be comfortable with general labouring * Directing and managing traffic flow in and around construction sites, work zones, and areas requiring traffic management * Installation and maintenance of traffic control devices such as cones, barriers, and signs * Monitoring traffic patterns and adjusting management plans accordingly * Swift response to emergencies, ensuring the safety of all parties involved Minimum Requirements: * A current, valid TTM, TMO-P, or STMS CAT A/B certification * Full class 2 license would be beneficial but not required * Knowledge of Christchurch and the local roads is preferred * Strong communication abilities, fostering teamwork * Exceptional problem-solving skills, thriving under pressure * Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and nights * Reliability and a positive demeanor The opportunity: * Full time on average 45 plus hours per week * Long term opportunities, temporary ongoing work, with potential for temp to perm for the right candidate. * Weekly pay * Rate is dependent on relevant tickets, licences and experience.
