About the role Provide maintenance, repair, and fault response services for solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), optimising generation output and supporting asset reliability. This includes inspection and maintenance of high- and low-voltage equipment (non-intrusive), inverters, combiner boxes, tracker control units, photo voltaic modules, and secondary/associated systems, including SCADA. We require a person with a trade background who may have lubrication experience, can assist our reliability team in their operation and interface with our client’s safety and maintenance engineering teams. This role has a strong reliability focus to assist with identification of plant faults to prevent reactive maintenance interventions, increase equipment reliability and help identify developing equipment failures. We are after an enthusiastic person with a fitting or mechanic trade background who has worked in maintenance or engineering teams. Skills: • Fitting or mechanic trade qualification or strong mechanical skills • Lubrication experience and training to MLTI is preferred • Understanding of lubrication and oil analysis • Coordinate services within client safety, maintenance and business teams • Strong commitment to, and proven record in health and safety • Knowledge of safe systems of work such as JSA’s, SOP’s & permit to work processes • Demonstrable problem-solving skills and a high level of initiative • Effective communicator & team player with a sense of humour Experience: A background in plant maintenance will be an asset in this position with strong communication skills and ability to engage with maintenance engineers and technical teams.
