**About the Role:**
An opportunity exists for a focused energetic self-starter to join our Hamilton team as a Travelling Project Supervisor!
This role will see you travelling to Schools across New Zealand covering the Waikato through to Auckland, being accountable for project planning, work scheduling and on site supervision of contractors for variation works from Asbestos decontamination's through to electrical re-wiring.
Having personality plus you will be able to talk to a variety of people as you are the key point of contact with the client side project management team and the delivery of works on time with quality outcomes in a cost effective and safe manner.
Accommodation is all paid along with an attractive meal allowance and the company vehicle. You be leaving on a Monday morning and travelling back home on a Friday just in time for the weekend ahead! ****
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Oversee daily operations on-site to ensure smooth project execution
* Supervise and coordinate a team of tradespeople and subcontractors
* Monitor project progress, ensuring it aligns with timelines and budget
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to maintain clear communication
* Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure the work is of the highest standard
* Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports and schedules
* Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts efficiently and professionally
**What we're looking for:**
* Trade supervisory experience (electrical background highly regarded)
* Comfortable with extensive travel & nights away (Mon-Fri)
* Tech savvy - confident using iPads, apps, and project systems
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills - firm but fair when needed
* A team player who is reliable, trustworthy, and adaptable
* Full clean NZ driver's licence (manual a bonus)
* Able to pass MOJ + drug/alcohol checks
