DESCRIPTION FOR SENIOR ROLE: • Produce exceptional craftsmanship in an efficient manner • Using hand tools and machinery where adequate training has been provided to manufacture and assemble joinery. • Driving work vehicles (only on a clean full license) • Lifting product around the factory, and to and from vehicles- both onsite and off-site • Cleaning and maintaining work areas and machinery as required • Using machinery for various cutting techniques where training has been provided • Ensuring that any contact with NT Joinery’s customers/suppliers is pleasant, and the customer/supplier departs with a well informed and enjoyable experience • Participate with our Continuous Improvement culture; to adopt the Lean principles and apply them to your role where appropriate Skills required for the role: • Full clean driver's license • Strong work ethic • Work well in a team environment but also self-manage and prioritize • Ability to work well under pressure • Good reliable work ethic and turn up to work on time This role is suited for someone that is experienced in specials and is looking to further their career and knowledge base. DESCRIPTION FOR JUNIOR ROLE: • Unpacking aluminium extrusion from the crates onto the loading racks • Insert rubbers into the extrusion • Lifting Glass into Aluminium frames – using gloves and gauntlets • Sealing frames with bead and rubber – using eye protection • Cutting aluminium extrusion – where adequate training has been provided and demonstrated competency • Loading and unload glass racks – keeping with organisation of job flow and placement order • Helping other fellow colleagues to lift, hold or help to the competency of your skill level • Topping up workstation consumables – screws, joint sealer, drill bits, etc. • Maintain H&S protocols and use PPE equipment when required • Claim duration of time on jobs Skills required for the role: • Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals. • Ability to communicate effective with team members and colleagues • Understanding and adhering to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment • Familiarity with hand and power tools used in the workshop • Good reliable work ethic and turn up to work on time NOTE: •Only applications made through trade me will be considered. •Only applicants residing in NZ will be considered.
