Modern workshop and well-maintained equipment We are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Joiner / Cabinetmaker with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in New Zealand to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a tradesperson who takes pride in precision workmanship, has strong technical knowledge, and can work confidently from plans & design drawings. You will be involved in the manufacture of high-quality bespoke cabinetry and joinery for residential and/or commercial projects. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities • Manufacture custom cabinetry, kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, and bespoke joinery • Read and interpret detailed plans and specifications • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently • Assemble joinery in house to a high standard • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality expectations • Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment ________________________________________ Skills & Experience Required • Trade qualification in Joinery, Cabinetmaking, or equivalent • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills • Experience with both workshop manufacturing and good understanding of on-site installation • A problem-solving mindset and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team environment • A friendly and outgoing personality, a desire to learn and contribute as part of a team • Full driver’s licence • Strong work ethic and reliability ________________________________________ What We Offer At Hostess Kitchens, we are committed to providing our employees with a rewarding and fulfilling work environment.
