Field Operator | West Coast, South Island

Rentokil Rural & Environmental Services combines experience spanning diverse landscapes, from high-country farms to dense native bush. The role: As a Field Operator, you’ll take part in large-scale pest control projects in some of New Zealand’s most remote and iconic landscapes, using trapping and toxin deployment methods. In return, you’ll gain practical experience, work toward industry qualifications, and join a team that values grit, reliability, and results. This is physically demanding, full-time outdoor work, ideal for those who back their stamina and enjoy working hard as part of a solid team. Location: Our teams frequently travel to operational sites across the South Island, providing the opportunity to experience New Zealand off the beaten track. At times, you may be required to stay away for the working week (Mon - Fri) plus the occasional 10-day stint, with accommodation and meals provided. Why join us? First Aid Certificate ATV, LUV, or 4WD qualifications GrowSafe or Controlled Substance Licence NZ Firearms Licence Chainsaw use NZQA unit standards or related training Successful candidates must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria.
