About the role CARTERS?St Lukes has an opportunity for a Class 2 Driver/Customer Service Representative to join their busy Yard team. This versatile role involves operating a Class 2 to deliver building materials to construction sites and providing support in the yard - picking and packing orders, and operating a forklift to load product onto delivery trucks.? The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and pride themselves on exceptional service and delivery to our customers in a timely, professional, and safe manner. With your high energy and can-do attitude, you?can expect to: * Drive a Class 2 truck * Load and unload building materials either with a forklift or manual handling * Carry?out customer deliveries efficiently and on time and in accordance with health and safety regulations. * Pick and assemble customer orders.? * Process sales documentation?? * Provide exceptional customer service to all customers on and off site. About you The ideal candidate will have a commitment to outstanding customer service and support and have the following skills and qualities: * Full NZ Drivers licence with minimum Class 2 required * Forklift licence with F endorsement required * Building industry experience preferred * A team player with the right attitude. * A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers * Basic computer skills? * Proven awareness of health and safety legislation in this industry. * Physically fit for the occasional heavy lifting and manual handling What we offer In return, we'll make sure you're looked after in a professional, positive, inclusive and supportive working environment that you can be proud of.
