Supportive and professional team environment PIRTEK TARANAKI LIMITED is seeking a Mobile Service Technician to join our supportive and professional team in New Plymouth. This is a hands-on role, providing on-site hydraulic and mechanical service to a wide range of industries. You’ll be responsible for attending service calls, diagnosing and repairing hydraulic issues, and building relationships with our valued customers. DUTIES & TASKS • Attend Onsite service calls during business hours on a range of machinery and equipment in the Oil & Gas, Transport and Engineering sectors • Assemble & fit new and serviced hydraulic and mechanical assemblies and components, pumps and motors • Participation in an On Call / Afterhours Roster 1 week per month providing our 24/7 hydraulic breakdown service, may be required QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • Previous Hydraulic system diagnostic and fault-finding experience strongly desired • Mechanical / Light Engineering experience beneficial • Ability to work under some time restrictions and unsupervised when needed • Self-Motivated, physically and medically fit • Able to work overtime if needed • Full / Clean NZ Drivers Licence BENEFITS • Great, small team culture and atmosphere working under a well-known global brand • Permanent full-time position • Vehicle and phone provided for work use • Training Opportunities • Immediate start available ABOUT US We are an established Franchise with a small team who we take great care of.
