Opportunities for ongoing training, development, and long-term career Fire Extinguisher & Fire Alarm Testing Technician (Including Workshop Duties) We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fire Extinguisher & Fire Alarm Testing Technician to join our growing team. This role combines both field-based servicing and testing work with workshop responsibilities, providing a varied and hands-on position within the fire protection industry. Key Responsibilities: Inspection, testing, servicing and maintenance of fire extinguishers and associated equipment Testing and maintenance of fire alarm systems Completing service documentation and compliance records Workshop duties including: Equipment preparation and assembly Servicing and refilling extinguishers Stock control and workshop organisation Preparing materials and equipment for site work Supporting installation and maintenance teams as required Maintaining a high standard of health and safety and customer service About You: Experience in fire protection, fire alarms, extinguishers, electrical, mechanical, trades or servicing environments preferred but not essential Full training will be provided to the right person Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Good communication and time management skills Practical, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically fit and capable of manual handling Full driver licence preferred What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Ongoing training and development opportunities Variety between field and workshop work Supportive team environment Long-term career opportunities within a growing industry If you’re practical, dependable and looking for a role with variety and opportunity to develop new skills, we’d love to hear from you.
