**About the Role:**
We’re looking for a National Workshop Manager to lead the performance safety and efficiency of our Mechanical & Engineering workshops across New Zealand.
With over 7 workshop sites you’ll oversee operations machinery maintenance and systems management—ensuring high standards across safety compliance and productivity. A key part of the role is leading and developing workshop teams and driving consistent performance and best practice across all locations.
**Location:** Tauranga
**Status:** Permanent Full-time with flexibility for regular national travel
**Specific Responsibilities**
* Lead workshop health & safety compliance and performance
* Manage and develop workshop teams nationwide including performance and capability
* Drive operational efficiency KPIs and reporting
* Oversee machinery servicing and repairs across sites
* Monitor budgets costs and workshop spend
* Manage tools suppliers and workshop resources
* Support and oversee all Workshop sites performance
**Who we're after:**
* NZQA Level 4 Automotive Heavy Engineering qualification (or NZQA-recognised equivalent)
* 5+ years proven leadership/management experience within a mechanical workshop
* Strong mechanical and workshop operations knowledge
* Confident managing budgets reporting and KPIs
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Proactive hands-on and solutions-focused
