We're looking for a skilled Welder, Fitter & Assembler to join our Matamata team and take on varied, hands-on fabrication and assembly work. The opportunity * Competitive pay based on experience * 40 - 46 hours per week M - F * Supportive team environment with strong values * Spacious, modern and fully equipped workshop * Long-term career opportunities in a growing business * A great company culture that is backed by monthly company lunches, birthday celebrations, social get togethers What we are looking for You're reliable, self-motivated, and take pride in your work, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team while maintaining high standards and a strong focus on health and safety. * MIG and TIG welding skills (steel and aluminium) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong mechanical aptitude and basic vehicle knowledge * High attention to detail and pride in your workmanship * Trade certification (Fitter Welder / Boilermaker) preferred * Current welding certification to ISO 9606-1:2012 standard or willingness to gain certification * NZ residency or a valid work visa This is a great opportunity with a highly reputable company.
