We are seeking a Process Operator to join our Cream Products Plant in a permanent position.
As a Process Operator, you'll be hands-on, with your primary focus on running the production area efficiently while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
This role works on a rotating 4-on, 4-off shift pattern, with 12-hour shifts: two days (5am – 5pm), two nights (5pm – 5am), followed by four days off.
Responsibilities include:
* Operate packing and process equipment in an efficient, safe and hygienic manner
* Adherence to work instructions, procedures and specifications as documented in the appropriate manuals
* Maintain high standards in the plant and associated workstations
* Ensure final product quality standards are maintained.
The successful candidate will need the following attributes:
* Positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure & make a positive contribution within a team
* Proven problem-solving skills
* Physically fit – Able to lift up to 20kg
* Attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and record keeping skills
* Mechanical/practical skills and perspective
* Computer skills
Ideal candidates will have some previous experience operating a Food/Dairy production plant, however this is not a minimum requirement.
