Based in beautiful Rotorua, we have a convenient, central location that has plenty to offer everyone. Mechanical Fitter Are you a Mechanical Fitter with experience in the manufacturing industry? Are you interested in fitting-out, assembling and commissioning machinery? Do you enjoy problem-solving, fault-finding, and working with cutting-edge machinery? If so, we want to hear from you! Our ideal candidate: * Previous experience in the assembly of large machinery * Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems * Ability to read, understand and follow detailed schematics, drawings and instructions * Ability to work under pressure and deadlines * Experience using heavy equipment, e.g. overhead gantry cranes and forklifts, essential * Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills * Experience in machining and fabrication preferable * Strong commitment to Health & Safety * A team player with great communication skills * Self-motivated and able to follow instructions and work independently.
