You’ll be responsible for leading site-based teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring everything runs on time, to budget, and to a high standard. This is a leadership role suited to someone who thrives on accountability and enjoys driving performance both on and off site. Key responsibilities: Plan, program, and execute complex civil projects Manage site teams, QA, safety, and environmental compliance Handle variations, claims, forecasting, and reporting Coordinate survey, procurement, and stakeholder communication Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing team culture What you’ll bring: 8+ years’ experience in civil infrastructure (NZ, AU, or UK) A relevant civil engineering qualification (or equivalent experience) Strong knowledge of three waters (stormwater, wastewater, potable) Hands-on approach to site management and leadership Solid understanding of NZS 3910 and construction methodologies Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel, and QA systems Excellent communication and people skills What’s on offer: $140K–$170K salary + vehicle + phone (depending on experience) Leadership opportunity with real autonomy Long-term career growth and training support Flat company structure and great culture Employee benefits and commercial discount schemes If you're a proven leader who thrives on ownership, wants to work with a self-performing team, and is passionate about delivering high-quality civil work — this is your chance.
