Join a great team of HVACR experts in the Bay of Plenty now! We are looking for an experienced and qualified HVAC/Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Engineers and Installers in the Bay of Plenty. Is this the next move for you? This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including compressors, pumps, air handlers, dryers, heat exchangers, and control systems (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic). - Install, maintain, and repair pneumatic/electric valves, ventilation systems, pumps, and refrigeration units per specifications and diagrams. - Monitor gauges/instruments and adjust controls to regulate fluid pressure and system distribution. - Operate refrigeration recovery equipment and perform gas welding on piping as needed. - Conduct planned maintenance and repairs across a wide range of refrigeration systems and temperature settings. - Maintain detailed service records and identify equipment needing future attention. - Coordinate with team members to minimize customer disruption. - Lead projects and provide on-site problem-solving and customer support. About you: - Knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration tools, materials & test equipment. - Knowledge of repair, maintenance & and installation techniques. - Skill in reading & understanding schematics. - Skill in analysing HVAC or refrigeration malfunctions from performance & test equipment readings & determining appropriate repairs. - Strong verbal & written communication.
