Quiet flat in Island Bay, 1 room available for rent from the 20th Dec 2025, comes with a queen bed and drawers.10mins walk to the main shops, bus stops, cinema and 20mins walk to the beach. House is VERY warm and dry with central heating (you never get cold in winter!), HRV and a fireplace, heated floor in the bathroom too, what a treat! Big garden with 3 different BBQs if thats your thing. Huge deck, and a small library area. Flatmate profiles: Me: I work in IT and spend about 3-5 days a week with my partner out in Makara so hardly ever home. 1 other flatmate. If hes not at work or out there teaching dance, you wouldnt know if he is home cause he is super quiet, like a ghost lol. Teddy the chow chow- fluffy black dog who also split time between the island bay beach or chasing the sheep out in Makara. Auto roll over for belly rub when human detected. Alphie the mixed mini poodle- he lives with his mum next door but spend his day time in our household guarding the neighbourhood while his mum is at work. Will forcefully demand cuddles. 4 weeks bonds require. And since the property is not fully fenced with 2 dogs, I just need someone who is very mindful not to leave the door open in case the doggies take themselve out on adventures. No smoker please. No couples sorry. Can consider a well trained dog
