Pioneer® brand products are currently seeking a motivated and capable individual to join our Seed Maize Production operations in Gisborne for the summer season. This role is for a fixed term, from October through to early December. What You’ll Be Doing: • Operating modern John Deere tractors equipped with Trimble GPS guidance systems • Supporting the male delay planting programme • Operating field production equipment including detasslers and male removers • Assisting with other aspects of field production as required What We’re Looking For: • A full and current New Zealand driver’s license (required) • Experience operating agricultural machinery or tractors (preferred) • Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions • Good communication and teamwork skills, and safety awareness • Attention to detail In return, you will gain practical experience in commercial seed maize production, exposure to modern farming equipment and technologies, a supportive team environment within a leading agricultural brand and a competitive remuneration based on experience.
