




Ruahine Property Works covers Central Hawkes Bay, Tararua and Manawatu from depots in Dannevirke and Palmerston North. We undertake a wide range of property maintenance and renovation work. The operations Manager role oversees all aspects of our daily work requirements, from initial planning through to execution and completion. This role ensures that renovation, repair, and maintenance projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities: • Manage multiple property renovation and maintenance projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site workers, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety regulations. • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and adjust schedules or resources as needed to meet deadlines. • Conduct regular site inspections to assess work quality, progress, and compliance with standards. • Communicate effectively with clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns promptly. • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for each project. • Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, permits, and reports. • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and company policies. • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Ideal candidate • Proven experience in project management, preferably in property renovation, or facilities maintenance. • Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety standards. • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills. • Good communication skills – both written and verbal
