Full time - Fixed Term HR Advisor This is a hands-on position where you’ll manage the full HR function, from recruitment and employee relations to policies, compliance, and engagement initiatives. OneStaff has an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an Recruiter with a passion for working with people to join our busy Taranaki team and gain valuable experience in the recruitment industry. This role is a 6-month maternity leave cover from October 2025 until April 2026, and we're seeking a motivated individual with excellent time management skills to help us meet the growing demand for recruitment services in the region. Our business provides recruitment and labour hire solutions across a wide range of industries including trades, construction, transport, manufacturing, and logistics. As part of our team, you'll support the management of a busy temporary workforce while ensuring the health and safety of our onsite personnel. HSQE Business Partner

About the role: We're looking for a HSQE Business Partner to join our Energy Services division. In this role, you'll partner with operational teams to embed a strong safety culture, ensure compliance, and deliver improvements across health, safety, quality, and environmental standards. * Act as the go-to HSQE expert for assigned business units. * Champion a proactive safety culture through coaching and leadership. * Support incident investigations and contribute to strategic HSQE planning. * Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments. * Build strong relationships with operational leaders, contractors, and regulatory bodies. * Drive continuous improvement initiatives to keep our people and environment safe. About you: * Relevant HSQE qualification (Level 4 HSQE Diploma, NEBOSH, or equivalent). * 5+ years' experience in HSQE roles, ideally in contracting, energy, or electrical distribution. * Strong knowledge of health and safety principles and risk management. * Experience in investigations, audits, and assurance reporting. * Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. * A practical background in electrical or civil construction is advantageous.
