The Role We’re looking for an energetic, hands-on Installation Technician to join our Avondale-based team. This is a practical, mainly labour-focused role where you’ll be installing water tanks, pumps, filtration systems, and related equipment. You’ll work in a small, supportive crew, learning on the job with the opportunity to progress into a plumbing apprenticeship if you’re the right fit. Day-to-Day, You’ll: * Assist with installing water tanks, pumps, meters, and filtration systems * Work safely with tools, machinery, and vehicles * Help load, unload, and prepare gear for jobs * Keep the worksite and vehicles tidy and organised * Support the team to deliver quality installations on time * Assist on the Warehouse & Delivery team from time to time We’re Looking For Someone Who: * Has a great work ethic and isn’t afraid of physical labour * Is practical, reliable, and eager to learn * Has a full NZ driver’s licence (restricted considered if close to full) * Works well in a team and follows instructions * Has basic tool knowledge (bonus but not essential) What We Offer: * Competitive hourly rate based on experience * Full on-the-job training * A clear pathway into a plumbing apprenticeship for the right person * Supportive, tight-knit team culture * Work that makes a difference for NZ’s water future
