Optically, I have noticed some small bits of fungus which are only apparent when I shine a strong light down the lens (see photos). It does not seem to impact the quality of images, and I still find this lens to be one of the sharpest lenses in my kit. \r\n\r\nI have used this lens as part of a lens set for cinematography work and have been very happy with the results. It is very sharp, yet retains a nice focus rendition. Its macro capability is also very useful and makes this lens particularly versatile. I am currently selling this lens to buy a 50mm Summicron.
