Hammerhand
We have multiple clients looking for experienced Hammerhands to work across a range of residential and commercial projects in Dunedin. If you’re confident on the tools, take pride in your work, and want consistent opportunities—this could be the role for you.
Location: Multiple sites across Dunedin
Start date: Immediate start
Pay rate: $28–30 per hour (paid weekly)
You’ll be part of hard-working crews delivering quality builds while maintaining strong health & safety standards on site.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assisting builders on residential and commercial sites
- Using hand and power tools confidently
- Reading and interpreting basic plans
- Keeping worksites clean and organised
- Following instructions from site managers and qualified tradespeople
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 2+ years’ recent experience as a Hammerhand
- Strong skills with hand and power tools
- Ability to read plans and follow direction
- Good understanding of site health & safety practices
- Reliable, team-focused attitude
- Valid work rights in New Zealand
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
- Recent, contactable references
