Steel Erector | Dunedin We are seeking an experienced Steel Erector to join a leading New Zealand construction firm delivering major commercial and industrial projects across the lower South Island. This is a full-time role offering stability, variety, and long-term career potential. About the Role: You’ll be responsible for the safe erection and installation of structural steel components in line with project specifications and engineering drawings. What We’re Looking For: - Minimum 2 years’ experience in steel erection or a similar trade - Ability to read and interpret structural/engineering drawings - Knowledge of structural bolt tightening and site set-out - Competence using mobile cranes, EWPs, and general site equipment - Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction - Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work independently - Dogman/rigging licence and fabrication/welding experience (advantageous) - Current EWP ticket (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer: - $32 – $36 per hour (based on experience) - Involvement in large-scale, high-profile projects - Supportive team culture with a trusted Kiwi employer - Genuine long-term opportunities Please note: Applications are open to New Zealand-based candidates only. ?
