We’re a growing fabricating engineering business, specialising in the full spectrum of fabrication discipline, and are now seeking positions in the following - * A motivated and experienced Light & General fabricator to join our dynamic team in Dunedin. The successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, with proven experience in all types of light fabrication – stainless, aluminium, copper, brass and mild steel. To succeed, you will need to bring with you a trade qualification in sheet metal work or light fabrication or 5+ years proven stainless fabrication skills and knowledge, with high-quality welding, and attention to detail and accuracy. Key Skills & Experience Required: • High quality stainless steel & alloy TIG and MIG welding experience • Ability to read & understand CAD Drawings • Attention to detail and accuracy • Punctual and motivated • Ability to work unsupervised • A team player • Full New Zealand driver’s license • Trade qualification or 5+ years industry knowledge and experience in sheet metal fabrication. Working 10-hour days on Monday to Thursday, the successful applicant can enjoy Friday’s off. With optional overtime work on the Friday (paid at time & half rate) as required to meet customer deadlines. Reid Engineering Limited are seeking a full time permanent experienced welder/fabricator for our busy workshop. Reid Engineering Limited is the licensee for Trout River New Zealand. We build live bottom trucks, trailers and attachments to a high standard. We also do a wide range of general engineering for the heavy transport industry. The ideal candidate will be able to offer the following: * Proven experience as a heavy fabricator/welder in a manufacturing setting would be ideal. * Good knowledge of using fabrication tools and equipment. * Ability to understand and read engineering drawings and blue prints. * Mathematical competence and the ability to understand dimensions. * Strong attention to detail and exceptional workmanship at all times. * Must be able to follow instructions and work independently. * Good safety behavior * Excellent problem solver. * Pay rate between $35 -$45 per hour, depending on skills, qualifications and experience. Service Technician Our client is a leading industrial Hydraulic and Pneumatic Engineering expert based in Dunedin. Their local branch is in need of a service technician to join their team. The Role Based in Dunedin this is predominantly a workshop-based position. Working alongside other technicians and specifically with hydraulics, duties will include installation, servicing, overhauling, testing and preventative maintenance of equipment. Their cliental range from commercial, agricultural to industrial industries. Days & Hours Monday to Friday 8am-5pm with occasional overtime available. Our client is open to flexibility for the right candidate Skills and Attributes We are looking for someone who ideally has previous experience in Hydraulics and Pneumatics however consideration will be given to individuals with strong Engineering or a Mechanical background. You will enjoy getting your hands dirty and learning on the job. You will be someone who thrives on working in a team environment but also can be left to do a job independently.
