We have a ripper of an opportunity for a networking legend to join our Dunedin / Otago team as we look to keep our foot on the gas in a readily changing market. Our rockstar electrical and engineering Recruitment Partner is heading home to Ireland after almost three years with us, so you will have not only a very warm desk of fantastic clients, you'll have a handover from the superstar herself! What would you be doing? You'll be running an already warm 360 degree electrical & engineering desk with a huge variety of clients, and the opportunity to take ownership of your own work. You'll be focusing on permanent and contract roles for Electricians, Project Managers, Estimators, Maintenance Engineers, Welders and Fabricators to name a few! On the daily, you will be interacting with clients, contractors and candidates within the Otago markets. You'll have the freedom to build those relationships as you see fit and advertise through multiple platforms for huge range of active roles. To further build this desk you'll be eager to attend networking events regularly, be comfortable heading out to various construction sites and always be hungry for the next opportunity. Please note it is essential that you have either a solid recruitment, trades or sales background for this role. All about you! We are an open book and are happy to show you the ropes, but some of the key attributes that will help the successful team member are: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Recruitment, trades or sales experience * Hunger to develop relationships and build your network * Organised and tip top time management * Have a solid Dunedin network to call on (bonus) * Sales/customer facing experience * Knowledge of the industrial trades sector * A positive attitude, no negative nancy's around here! * Most importantly, a good sense of humour!
