Challenging role for hardworking, safety-focused individuals We are looking for a motivated Chainsaw Operator to join our thinning crew. This role involves felling approximately 10m tall trees and is not for the faint-hearted. We need someone who can handle the physical demands of the job and contribute to a high-performing team. Key Responsibilities: * Safe and efficient operation of chainsaws * Regular maintenance and care of equipment * Working hard to complete daily targets * Supporting the crew and being a reliable team player Requirements: * Proven experience with chainsaw operation (not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate) * Strong physical fitness and ability to work in all weather conditions * Once competent and able to work in a safe manner, you must also be capable of handling the physical demands of the job * A positive attitude and willingness to learn and push yourself * Good awareness of health & safety * Must have own reliable transport to the pick-up spot (usually Washdyke) This is Full-time position with competitive pay rates based on performance * Opportunities for ongoing training and career progression * Supportive crew environment with emphasis on teamwork and safety If you’re hardworking, safety-focused, and ready to take on the challenge of thinning.
