About The Role We're hiring a Client Support Manager to deliver excellence within our ticketing pillar. This role will join our dynamic Ticketek team as a Client Support Manager in Christchurch where you’ll play a key role in delivering world-class ticketing services for major sporting and entertainment events. In this client-facing role, you’ll manage relationships with prestigious venues and stadiums, ensuring seamless event delivery and exceptional service. You’ll act as the central link between clients, internal teams (marketing, tech, finance), and external stakeholders—overseeing account continuity, operational coordination, and contractual compliance. You will be working from a sunny, central office location with a carparking. Requirements What does a day in the life look like? As Client Support Manager, your role will include: Client Relationships: Partnering with Clients to discuss build requirements, time frames and responsibilities. Delivering accurate event builds. Providing timely and concise reporting and insights. Account Management: Acting as our clients primary point of contact. Building and maintaining strong relationships with a solution focused approach to ensure continued partnership. Event Operations: Build and maintain events within the Ticketing System as well as manage ticketing operations on event day. Event Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with internal and external leads to ensure marketing and promotional strategies are implemented well ahead of time and fulfilled as planned. Business Development: Work with Senior Management and your team to innovate and provide value-added services and solutions to Clients that increase occupancy and build brand and event profile. General: Other duties as reasonably required. About you Essential experience & skills: Excellent verbal and written communication Experience in event or ticketing roles Ability to develop new and existing relationships with clients; ability to resolve client/customer problems in a helpful, non-confrontational manner Understanding or ability to learn ticketing systems and processes An interest in event promotion, event administration and venue management Desirable experience & skills Client/customer relationship skills Tertiary qualified Other key considerations for this position Due to the nature of this role, work is required outside of business hours and on the weekend. This diverse role will see you based in Christchurch in Canterbury where you will be part of the team performing field-based or site-based repairs and maintenance on a large fleet of our Forklifts for our customers across your assigned area and working through our well-equipped Workshop. We have both mechanical battery electric and internal combustion Forklifts with a significant number of different models within the two categories giving you the opportunity to develop and increase your skills. And all whilst ensuring that we provide exceptional service to our customers - the greatest purpose of our teams is to work together with our customers and support them to keep their businesses on the go! You’ll have the chance to learn our products, and this will give you the opportunity to progress in the business and the organisation. Crown product knowledge would be a real bonus, but we have heaps of great training materials, if you’re a willing learner! This is a permanent, full time role, working Mondays to Fridays with on-call duties and the opportunity for some paid overtime. Requirements About you Ideally, we’re looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years' Material Handling Equipment experience or Auto Electrical, Diesel or Motor Mechanic experience and / or trade qualification or hydraulics experience (or similar overseas qualification). To really shine in this role, you'll bring your customer-centric and solutions-focused attitude, as you support our valued customers with service they can trust. You'll work in a collaborative team environment, so being a team player and being prepared to support the team is essential. Being IT savvy and an agile learner will stand you in good stead. The ability to build rapport and relationships should be one of your strengths as is your attention to detail and you’ll be IT savvy too. There will be manual handling required and so you’ll also need to be physically fit. Please note, a full pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol test, as well as valid drivers’ license will be required. In addition, as part of your initial and ongoing training you must be able to travel to Australia (NZ passport or the eligibility to obtain an AUS visa).
