Animal Feed Labourer

Our client is a well-known manufacturer of animal feed based in Rolleston, looking for reliable factory workers to join their established manufacturing team on a fortnightly rotating roster (day & afternoon shifts). The successful applicant will be: * Available to work on a fortnightly rotating roster (6.00am-3.30pm and 2.30pm-12.00am midnight) Monday to Friday * Capable of repetitive heavy lifting (20kg bags) * A team player, capable of working with a diverse group of people * Reliable and have own transport Duties include: * Lifting and stacking bags of feed onto a pallet * Basic machine operation, training provided * Cleaning and general maintenance duties around the factory Benefits include: * Competitive remuneration - $25.00 hourly rate + 8% holiday pay * Chance to upskill in machine operation and warehousing/forklift skills * All PPE supplied by OneStaff * Chance to build a career in a company with nationwide work opportunities. This is a part time role with 11 hours per week. The hours are Friday and Sunday 11:30am -5:00pm. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for operating company vehicles and earthmoving equipment, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring our Transfer Station is maintained to the highest standard. **Key responsibilities include:** - Safely controlling the placement of waste and/or product. - Providing outstanding customer service at all times. - Assisting drivers and members of the public with correct placement of loads to ensure efficient spreading or compacting of waste and materials. - Maintaining a high standard of housekeeping across the site. **Qualifications** **About You** To succeed in this role, you will bring: - A current Class 1 or Class 2 NZ driver licence. - WTR endorsements (wheels, tracks, rollers). - Proven experience operating earthmoving equipment (e.g. excavators, forklifts, loaders, ride-on mowers). - A strong understanding of workplace Health and Safety. - Mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills. - The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Strong work ethic, reliability, and good time management. **Additional Information** **How to Apply** To apply for this role, click **“I’m Interested”**.
