One private, double unfurnished bedroom is available from 12pm Saturday 20 December 2025 *Has a large built in wardrobe. Only 5 mins by car to Canterbury University 1.6km. We’ve had people from all over the world stay here, China, Japan, USA, Argentina, Brazil, Ireland, India, Australia, France, Sweden, Germany, Philippines So we welcome anyone from any country / culture :) Upper Riccarton, near University of Canterbury, library, park, bus stop, Church Corner / Bush Inn shops and supermarket. $165 per week plus $48 expenses, which “includes” shared flat Expenses, like wifi internet, electricity and basic household needs like coffee, sugar, olive oil, washing powder, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, soap, toilet paper etc…. (Buy your own food! Everyone buys their own food and cooks their own meals, you have your own space in the fridge, freezer and cupboards. (food is not included in the $213.) Large 4 bedroom house plus a sleep out, making 5 rooms. (Sleep out is already taken) One double, sunny, private room is available in the house. The room has a large built in wardrobe. Total number of people will be 6, currently there are 5 Male 25, Male 31, Male 32, Female 40 & Male 49 Good, honest, friendly people :) House has excellent unlimited fast fibre wifi, heat pump, dishwasher, microwave etc… Close to bus stop, supermarket, Bush Inn, church corner shops, library and direct gated access to the park etc. Quiet, Professional Student or “Working person” only. Someone that normally sleeps at night and lives the day. One week (213) in advance and two weeks (330) Bond required when moving in. Parking is available on our quiet street in front of house. *Smoking cigarettes & vaping are only permitted outside. *Illegal Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted. * We already have a mature house cat, Henry, so no other pets allowed.
