We have a vacancy for a keen, forklift operator who thrives in a small team and will get recognition for their efforts and will not be treated as 'number'. The successful applicant must have proven experience in loading/unloading transport units that travel by road and have a good understanding of axle weight limits and weight placement. To add strength to our existing team and to keep the workload tidy. This is a rostered position including a weekend day as part of the roster. The successful applicant will have/be ; * Forklift endorsement and OHS Cert. * A positive and healthy attitude. * A strong work ethic. * Punctual, reliable with a willingness to get the job done * Work well within a small team. This is important. * One shift operate a 5 day week 1, then 6 days week 2 roster or; = Average 54 hours per week across the fortnight. * Attention to detail - freight checking * Competent and confident loading / unloading units. * Completing compliance checks on equipment before operating and loading. * Be able to operate in a chilled/frozen work space.
