We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Injection Moulding Operator / Processing Assistant to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will support the production process by handling, inspecting, finishing, and packing plastic components produced from injection moulding machines. Previous factory experience is required, and experience within injection moulding or plastic manufacturing is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities: * Remove moulded plastic components from injection moulding machines * Inspect products for defects such as flash, short shots, burns, or warping * Trim excess material and carry out basic finishing tasks as required * Assemble components where necessary * Accurately pack, label, and box finished products according to specifications * Record production counts and report any quality or machine issues * Maintain a clean and safe working environment * Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards * Assist setters and machine operators during changeovers when required Requirements: * Previous experience working in a factory or manufacturing environment * Experience within injection moulding or plastics processing is an advantage * Good attention to detail and ability to identify product defects * Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting * Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods * Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality * Ability to work independently and as part of a team Desirable Skills: - Knowledge of injection moulding processes and materials - Experience with quality inspection procedures - Understanding of production targets and lean manufacturing principles - Basic machine operation experience If you are interested and have experience, we’d love to hear from you.
