Job Title: Class A & B Asbestos Removalists Location: Wellington, New Zealand Job Description: We are seeking highly skilled and certified Class A & B Asbestos Removalists in Wellington. The successful candidates will be responsible for the safe and efficient removal and disposal of asbestos-containing materials in compliance with local and national regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Safely remove and dispose of asbestos materials from various sites. - Conduct site assessments to identify asbestos-containing materials. - Set up and maintain containment areas to ensure safety. - Operate and maintain asbestos removal equipment. - Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and procedures. - Complete necessary documentation and reports. - Communicate effectively with team members and site supervisors. Skills and Qualifications: - Valid Class A & B Asbestos Removal Certification. - Proven experience in asbestos removal projects. - Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations related to asbestos. - Ability to use asbestos removal tools and equipment safely. - Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. - Physical fitness and ability to work in confined spaces. - Current fit test certificate for half and full face masks. - Full PPE and RPE (half and fullface masks) - Sitesafe or constructsafe.
