




We're opening a brand-new Mitre 10 MEGA in Prestons, Christchurch, and we're looking for an experienced Operations & IT Manager to lead our operational strategy and ensure excellence in compliance, safety, and store systems. This is a key leadership role in our senior management team, responsible for driving efficiency, security, and profitability across the business. What you'll be doing: * Lead Loss Prevention, Health & Safety, Dangerous Goods, Biosecurity, and IT systems. * Manage store security, including trespass notices and police reporting via Aurora. * Ensure compliance with store policies, legislative requirements, and trading standards. * Champion operational excellence and continuous improvement in shrinkage and efficiency. * Support store opening/closing procedures and act as Duty Manager when required. * Provide leadership and guidance to team members across operational areas. * Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve store goals and drive business growth. * Maintain a safe, compliant, and customer-focused store environment.
