Our client is a family owned and operated metalwork firm, out of North Canterbury that specialise in high-end architectural jobs. This role is solely focussed on Architectural Steel Draftsperson work, they specialise in creating and designing gates, balustrades, stairs and other bespoke projects.   Key tasks: * Create 3D Model- Content varies from staircases and doors to steel beams and balustrades * Prepare drawings to include plans, elevations, sections and details * Communicating with the team to ensure accurate information is relayed * Review documents to identify any conflicts or missing details   Skills & attributes required: * Ideally hold a trade qualification or 5+ years of relevant work experience * Ability to work unsupervised and complete jobs from start to finish alone * Recent experience using Advanced Steel or Tekla Software - ideally within the last 12 months.  * Experience in generating and editing detailed drawings of architectural metalwork items, such as staircases and specialist projects * Strong attention to detail    Culture & benefits: * Competitive wage based on previous experience: $27 - $37 per hour * Interesting and varied work in a supportive team environment * Opportunity for long term, permanent employment   Ideally you will be available to start work immediately and you will be comfortable working on a temporary contract through OneStaff.
