Under new ownership, No 4 Bar and Restaurant, an iconic venue in the heart of Merivale has been operating for over 20 years now! We are ready to take the reigns and bring No 4 to new heights! A cosy, neighbourhood gastro pub, we are looking to expand our team for a busy summer and beyond. We are open 7 days a week, offering differing menus throughout the day, from breakfast through to dinner! Whether you want to watch the latest game, have a brunch with the girls or enjoy a drink in our garden bar; we can cater for all! Daily tasks include but not limited to; *Standard opening and closing procedures *Preparation for the night ahead *Cooking orders *Ensuring a smooth service and customer satisfaction *Running the kitchen in absence of the head chef *Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen *Assisting in producing new menu offerings and pricing, keeping things fresh, innovate and seasonal *Stock ordering and control *Adhering to all legal requirements of the business We are looking for people with strong work ethics, hard workers, people who can work in a team and follow instructions. We are lucky enough to be able to offer growth and development within our company for the right candidates, so if cooking is your passion, we want to hear from you! We can offer a 30 hour minimum contract, shifts varying across the week from day, mid or night, with usually 2 consecutive days off and pay dependant on experience.
