Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic team at HGM. In this hands-on role, you will work alongside our builder with timber & concrete construction projects including bridges, staircases, retaining walls, formwork, concrete placement and finishing, as well as a variety of other interesting projects. This is a diverse and engaging role that goes beyond timber & concrete construction. You will also assist with general siteworks as required, contributing to the overall success of each project. Maintaining the high-quality workmanship that HGM is known for is essential, and your craftsmanship will play a key role in upholding the reputation HGM has built over decades. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with the overall execution of timber and concrete construction projects. • Ensure all work meets HGM’s standards for quality and safety. • Assist with other site tasks and general construction duties as required. What We’re Looking For: • Proven experience in timber & concrete construction. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and project types. • A proactive and hands-on approach to work. • Strong knowledge of timber & concrete construction techniques and tools. • Excellent organisational and time-management skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Valid driver's NZ license.
