Burr Walnut Dining Table & Chair Set

Absolute stunning victorian style carved burr walnut extendable dining table set - fits 8 chairs, but we also have 2 matching carver chairs with arms that are included in the auction. Beautiful soft blue, almost a steel blue color tone in a velvet type fabric. Table has a sticker showing the manufacturer: Davies High Class Furniture, R.A. & C.R. DAVIES LTD, Period Furniture Manufacturers, Christchurch. Some of the chairs need a good clean to get rid of any stains and marks, and some may be slightly faded and the braid on the back of some chairs need to be reglued. And one chair is missing the braid on the back. See last pics for images of the worst stains/missing braid..The chair fabric cleans up beautifully with a damp cloth. The table has a few marks and dents as shown. But overall the set is in great condition for its age. Viewings are welcome so you can see the condition for yourself. Truly gorgeous set in a hard to come by color that will make a statement wherever it is. Sad to see it go but we want a bigger dining set to accommodate more guests. Extension table dimensions: 2325mm long fully extended, has one 500mm leaf which you can take out to make it smaller. 1085mm at widest part.
