He’s cruisy to ride and has had a variety of riders on him from beginners to more advanced teens. More woah than go but will get going after a good warm up.\r\n\r\n Generally good to handle, however, he does have some quirks. He can get strong around food, does take someone confident to drench him, and can have issues around loading, especially when he hasn’t been loaded for a while. This is all managed with ongoing training. Due to this, he will need to go to a home with previous horse experience. \r\n\r\n Scooby was an A+ student during his training, however, it was determined once he started taking riders that he wasn’t the right fit for the Riding for the Disabled Association. He will pop over small jumps, but I wouldn't say it's his forte. \r\n\r\n Good to catch, float, drench and stand for the farrier. \r\n\r\n Hadleigh can be sensitive to unrestricted rich pasture, impacting both his gut and behaviour. This has been easily managed with limited grazing and a decent probiotic. \r\n\r\n Despite Hadleigh having a mostly placid nature, he is not suited to a beginner home.
