As an an Activities Coordinator you will ensure residents have opportunities to be involved in interesting and varied activities offered to them daily that meet their physical, cognitive, social, spiritual and emotional needs, and encourage community involvement. This will include the planning, organising and delivery of activities, outings, events, and involvement in community groups. Your Skills and Experience: * Previous experience as a Diversional Therapist within dementia care is preferred * Must be computer literate and experience with ECase is a bonus. * Passion for caring for others, ideally within an aged care environment. * National Certificate in Diversional Therapy or an equivalent qualification * Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. * Full NZ drivers' license, and confidence in driving a van * A genuine love for helping people, excellent customer service skills, with a friendly and positive attitude. * A passion for continuous improvement, with a sound understanding of the importance of health and safety procedures.
